The Arts Club in Mayfair is a beautiful eighteenth century townhouse, and was a fitting location for a marvellous Mother’s Day celebration in the heart of London. Kerrie-Anne performed there on Saturday night, accompanied by the talented trio of Nate Notes on guitar, Alberto J Villa on drums, and Ross Wall on keyboards.
While the mums in the venue enjoyed a free glass of champagne, Kerrie-Anne celebrated and serenaded them with classic hits like Hey Big Spender. She performed Bridge Over Troubled Water as a very special dedication to her own mother, who raised Kerrie-Anne with the maternal assurance of lifelong support and protection, and this song was a huge hit with the audience. Her sweet rendition of Paul Simon’s ‘Mother and Child Reunion’, which was dedicated to a special guest, was another superb crowd pleaser.
Kerrie-Anne ended her stunning performance with Proud Mary, bringing the delighted audience to their feet and rounding off an evening of laughter, celebration and recognition for the amazing role that every mother plays in families far and wide.
