Saturday night at The Arts Club in Mayfair was a sophisticated and sassy affair with Kerrie-Anne on stage delivering her hallmark mix of sweet classic soul and high energy dance numbers. She looked dazzling in a black sequin shimmy jumpsuit, which moved and sparkled to match her glistening performance. Accompanied by Ross Wall on keyboards, Smiley Wade on drums and Thomas Totten on guitar, she dedicated a very special and unique rendition of Happy Birthday to one of the club’s VIP members.
In the audience, and proudly watching her daughter perform for the first time was Kerrie-Anne’s mum, who treasured her memorable and heartfelt version of Dorothy Moore’s Misty Blue. Stepping up the energy, Kerry-Anne had the room buzzing, dancing, and singing along to several catchy tunes, ending on a high note with Proud Mary, which was dedicated to her mum’s best friend. Having created an electric atmosphere at the venue, Kerrie-Anne left the stage to rapturous cheers, ready for the Speakeasy band to continue the party vibe.
